IRELAND TOUR 2006

The Grey Visit the Auld Sod.

The boys in their #1's.

The Connecticut Grey RFC, some 69 strong, enjoyed a week of rugby and Guinness, golf and whiskey, on the Emerald Isle in April, 2006.. Arriving in Armagh, Northern Ireland on Saturday morning, the Grey made camp at the beautiful Armagh City Hotel on the edge of this historic city (home of St. Patrick). Conveniently located adjacent to the City of Armagh RFC , we enjoyed a brief runaround on Armagh's 3rd team pitch before settling into a night of rugby fellowship at Armagh's clubhouse. Our thanks to President Joe McCord and all the lads at Armagh for making their facilities our home away from home on the first leg of the trip.
