Bio: "Sandy has said I went from playing an excellent tight-head prop to being an (expletive-deleted) referee." Jeff or "Jeff the Ref" as we lovingly call him, has been the Greys club referee for several years now. (much to the chagrin of many of our opponents.) A founding member of the Grey, Jeff decided that if he reffed most of our games, some of us may eventually learn the Laws of Rugby and not be an embarrassment to his legacy. Jeff's favorite rugby Law is Law 6, section 5: "During a match, the referee is the sole judge of fact and of law. All of his decisions are binding on the players." Many of us have yet to buy into that one.
