Jeff Levinson

Rugby is a game of violence. It is supposed to be. Both codes. It is a game of brutal physical confrontations: individual against individual, group against group. That is, if you like, the point. All the territorial ball games are mimic battles and rugby is the closest a sport gets to the real thing. But violence is not the whole of the game. Rugby is not 15-man boxing. Violence is the setting, the context. Without violence there is no courage, without mayhem there is no grace, without pain there is no exalted relief in victory. (Simon Barnes)

Bio: Jeff attributes his love for rugby as a result of getting dropped on his head at an early age. When asked where he got his gift of speed, “Jewish Lightning” insists it was a result of running away from cops on a regular basis as a child in his hometown of Metuchen, New Jersey. While not substantiated, he claims he never got caught.(A claim the mugshot above seems to disprove.)An avid music collector, Jeff can often be seen driving around West Hartford playing the drums on his steering wheel. Although he's been with the same woman for several years now, this explains a lot as to why Jeff remains unmarried.
